UPDATE (2/14/23 4:55 p.m.) The boil water advisory issued yesterday for Houston Springs subdivision has been LIFTED. The Perry Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced Nastasha “Anya” Edgley-Turpin as the finalist for the President and Chief Executive Officer position. Lane Closure on Elko Road

LANE CLOSURE | ELKO ROAD Elko Road, just south of Perry Parkway, is down to one lane due to instability of the shoulder near the roadway. A message board and traffic cones/barrels have been placed to divert traffic around the affected area. The situation will continue to be monitored and updates will be provided as they become available.

Duncan Avenue to Close For Sewer Line Replacement Project

Beginning next week, Duncan Avenue will be closed due to the Perry Branch sewer line replacement project. The closure is expected to last 3 weeks or until the project is complete.

Section of Thompson Road to Temporarily Close

Beginning on November 14, a section of Thompson Road between Perry Parkway and Hwy 41 will be closed. The detour route will be the intersection of Perry Parkway and Hwy 41. Road closure signs will be placed to the North and South of Thompson Road along Hwy 41 and Perry Parkway. Temporary barricades will be placed at both ends of Thompson Road.
