Perry Officers Arrest Dollar General Employee for Theft

On January 23, 2023, the Perry Police Department responded to the Dollar General on Plaza Drive, Perry, Georgia in reference to a theft. Once the officers arrived at the scene it was discovered over 150 fraudulent transactions were made by an employee who was employed by Dollar General. Officers Arrest Suspect in Perry Housing Authority Shooting Case

On 11/12/2022 at approx. 0125 hours, Officers with the Perry Police Department were dispatched to an aggravated assault incident at the Perry Housing Authority, 822 Perimeter Road, in Perry, GA. In October, Lt. Hill of the Perry Police Department discovered a person that appeared to be passed out at the Circle K on Perry Parkway. During the investigation, a struggle ensued between the suspect and responding officers. Flint Energies Foundation awarded the Perry Police Department, as well as 25 other departments, with $10,000 as part of their mission to support local law enforcement with their public safety efforts. Perry Police Arrests Aggravated Assault Suspect

On September 12, 2021, at 1615hrs, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Macon Road and Chapel Ridge Drive in reference to a shooting that had occurred. Upon arrival, officers found a female Breanne Green (b/f, DOB 02/24/1999) that had been shot multiple times in a 2021 Kia Forte.
