Two Arrested In July 24 Homicide On July 24, 2021, at 11:15 pm, Perry police officers responded to a shots fired call at Mason Terrace Apartments. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 77-year-old black male, Willie Jacox (address of 110 Ridge Court, Centerville, Georgia), had been shot multiple times and was not responsive. Perry’s ISO Rating Improves The City of Perry recently received an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating of Class 3/3x. Perry’s previous rating was 4/4x. This designation puts Perry in the top 15% nationwide. The ISO evaluates fire departments across the nation to determine how well-equipped they are to respond and extinguish fires in their community.
